Scratch Biscuits

Not the prettiest I've ever made but pretty tasty.

Half a stick of cold butter cut into a couple of cups of self rising flour, then add just enough buttermilk to make a soft dough. Pat it out to about a half inch round and cut into biscuits with Mom's antique cutter.

Bake at 425° F for about fifteen minutes.
